Check out some of our most commonly asked questions and learn about our general rules and procedures to help you prepare for the weekend!

Is there an age requirement to attend the festival?

Nope! New Ground is an All Ages event! A valid I.D. must be presented at the gate to obtain a 21+ wristband for those who wish to drink alcohol.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child?

Children age 5 and under get in free! All children over the age of 5 must have a ticket to enter. Front gate security and ticket volunteers reserve the right to allow or deny free entry per their discretion.

What is the refund policy?

New Ground will happen rain or shine! Please make sure to double check your calendar before purchasing your tickets because we do NOT offer refunds!

If a conflict arrises, or you get sick, we understand! We encourage you to sell your tickets to a friend or family member, or utilize our 2022 Facebook group!

We reserve the right to deny any refund request, for any reason.

What can I bring into the festival grounds?

You MAY NOT bring any of the following: Weapons, Pocket Knives, Drones, Fireworks, Alcohol or Illegal Substances, Lasers or Focused Light Devices, Tools/Machinery, Cameras with Detachable Lenses, Glass, Umbrellas or anything you wouldn't take to school or church.

You SHOULD bring the following: Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Photo I.D., Cash/Card/Contactless Pay, Cell Phone, Digital Camera, Portable Charger.

You CAN choose to bring: One Sealed Bottle of Water/Empty Refillable Bottle, Chairs/Blankets, Belt Bag/Purse/Small Backpack.

Can I bring my pet?

New Ground and Lakeshore Park are dog friendly! Please leave your birds, lizards, and fish at home, though. All attendees wishing to enter with their dog must have a leash and clean up materials

New Ground is not responsible for any injury or incident related to your pet, they are your responsibility! Please use your best judgement before bringing them along.

What is the I.D. process like?

All attendees will be asked to show Valid Photo I.D. at the entrance. Driver's Licenses will be scanned after your ticket, and if Valid & 21+, attendees will be given a 21+ wristband.

All attendees appearing to be under the age of 35 may be asked to show valid photo I.D. per bartender's discretion, regardless of wristband.

Is there a COVID-19 Policy?

In accordance with current Tennessee and Knox County COVID-19 regulations, we do not require proof of Vaccination or masks. This is subject to change, so please check back here, or follow us on social media for the latest updates!
